जिला मण्डी व ऊना में सघन नाकाबंदी एवं चेकिंग अभियान चलाया गया
हिमाचल: प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा 15 नवंबर 2025 को प्रारंभ किए गए प्रदेशव्यापी एंटी-चिट्टा जन-आंदोलन के अंतर्गत “चिट्टा-मुक्त हिमाचल” के संकल्प को और अधिक सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स द्वारा राज्य के विभिन्न जिलों में निरंतर अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स द्वारा जिला मंडी एवं ऊना में सघन नाकाबंदी एवं चेकिंग अभियान चलाया गया।
18 जून को स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स की टीम द्वारा बिंद्राबनी फोरलेन, जिला मंडी में नाका लगाकर वाहनों की नियमित चेकिंग की जा रही थी। चेकिंग के दौरान एक कार को रोककर तलाशी ली गई, तलाशी के दौरान वाहन के भीतर विशेष रूप से छिपाकर रखी गई 4.859 किलोग्राम चरस बरामदकी गई। यह बरामदगी वाहन में सवार दो व्यक्तियों के कब्जे से हुई। आरोपियों को तत्काल हिरासत में लेकर उनके विरुद्ध आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई की गई। इस संबंध में पुलिस थाना सदर मंडी में एन.डी.पी.एस. अधिनियम के अंतर्गत अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया तथा मामले की आगामी जांच जारी है। ।
17 जून को स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स की टीम द्वारा गाँव बेहड़ाला, तहसील मेहतपुर, जिला ऊना में नाका लगाकर वाहनों की नियमित चेकिंग की जा रही थी। चेकिंग के दौरान एक सफेद रंग की स्विफ्ट डिजायर कार को रोककर तलाशी ली गई, जिसमें एक व्यक्ति के कब्जे से 25.03 किलोग्राम पोस्त भूसा (डोडा अफीम) बरामदकी गई। आरोपी के विरुद्ध आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई गई। इस संबंध में पुलिस थाना सदर ऊना में एन.डी.पी.एस. अधिनियम के अंतर्गत अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया तथा मामले की आगामी जांच जारी है।
इस समन्वित कार्रवाई का उद्देश्य न केवल नशा तस्करी पर प्रभावी अंकुश लगाना है, बल्कि युवाओं को नशे के दुष्प्रभावों से बचाना तथा समाज में व्यापक जन-जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना भी है।
हिमाचल प्रदेश पुलिस नागरिकों, विशेषकर युवाओं से मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा की गई अपील को दोहराती है कि वे चिट्टा/नशे से संबंधित किसी भी सूचना को तुरंत 112 या नजदीकी पुलिस थाना में दें। सूचना देने वालों की पहचान पूर्णतः गोपनीय रखी जाएगी।
माननीय मुख्यमंत्री के सशक्त नेतृत्व और युवाओं की सहभागिता से हिमाचल पुलिस प्रदेश में चिट्टा का खात्मा करने को दृढ़ संकल्प है।
