Mandi: Abhilashi University celebrates ‘World Physiotherapy Day’

Mandi: The school of physiotherapy, Abhilashi University, Chailchowk, Mandi celebrated this global occasion ‘World Physiotherapy Day’.The day is observed to highlight, the theme given by WCPT (World Confederation Of Physical Therapy) “inflammatory arthritis” with in depth look at various forms of inflammatory arthritis which inchludes Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis.

The day was celebrated in ABHILASHI UNIVERSITY by the Faculty and students of School of Physiotherapy. They participated in poster making competition, aerobic fitness dance and a skit based on the theme of world physiotherapy day. Winners of poster making competition were awarded by the honble vice chancellor sir of the event. With the blessings of honble chancellor sir dr R K ABHILASHI

The Chief Guest were Dr LK Abhilashi, Pro- Chancellor, Dr Promila Abhilashi , vice-chairperson of AES Abhilashi University , vice chancellor Professor HS Banyal, Registrar Dr Kapil , Head of the deaprtment Dr Vivek Chauhan , Guest of Honour Dr. D.K. Mishra, Dean School of Ayurveda & Dr. Devender Sharma DSWC accompanied by other deans, HOD’s and of Abhilashi University.

Faculty members including the students marked the occasion by exhibiting presentations based on the theme and importance of physiotherapy in inflammatory arthritis.

The efforts of students were applauded by dignitaries & guest present in the hall.Dr Narbda Abhilashi and finance officer mr narender also gave blessings to the students.
