Himachal : NDRF & SDRF teams deployed for Vidhan Sabha Elections

Himachal :As per instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), a state disaster management plan has been prepared for Vidhan Sabha Elections 2022 in Himachal Pradesh alongwith District Disaster Management Plans. Under the plan, The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has deployed the teams of National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) comprising of 50 personnel in tribal areas of Lahaul & Spiti and Chamba district for quick response in any untoward incidents or natural calamities. Ten personnel each of NDRF and SDRF have been deployed at district headquarters (HQ) Chamba and Pangi, besides ten each of NDRF at District HQ Lahaul-Spiti, Kaza and Udaipur.
748 personnel from 14th Battalion Head Quarter Jasoor (Nurpur) under Commandant Baljinder Singh (82849-07111), 93 of Regional Response Center (RRC) Nalagarh under Inspector Jagpal (99964-03242), 103 from RRC Mandi under Inspector Shekhar Chouhan (96507-37060), 91 from RRC Rampur District Shimla under Inspector Danny (99966-88934) have been kept reserved for deployment under disaster management plan in their jurisdictions.
Three personnel from SDRF from HQ Shimla under Superintendent of Police (SP) Ilma Afroz (98160-14333), 31 from Junga under DSP Gulshan Negi (96502-69052), 57 from Pandoh under DSP Sunil Rana (86288-22642) and 70 from Sakoh (Kangra) under DSP Binny Minhas (78073-10020) have been kept reserved for deployment under the plan in their jurisdictions.
