शिमला: प्रदेश में मौसम विभाग शिमला के मुताबिक प्रदेश में आज 28 दिसंबर को ऊपरी और मध्य पर्वतीय इलाकों में बर्फबारी और बारिश रहेगी। जबकि निचले व मैदानी इलाकों के कई हिस्सों में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश की संभावना जताई गई है। 29 दिसंबर को प्रदेश में ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में बर्फबारी की संभावना जताई गई है। जबकि 30 और 31 दिसंबर को मौसम साफ रहेगा। इसके अलावा नए साल पर बर्फबारी के आसार हैं। मौसम विभाग ने 1 जनवरी और 2 जनवरी को प्रदेश में ऊपरी और मध्य पर्वतीय इलाकों में बारिश और बर्फबारी को लेकर संभावना जताई है । मौसम विभाग शिमला ने 29 से 31 दिसंबर तक प्रदेश के निचले व मैदानी इलाकों में शीतलहर चलने को लेकर चेतावनी जारी की है । वहीं, बिलासपुर और मंडी के कुछ हिस्सों में घना कोहरा रहने का भी अलर्ट जारी किया गया है ।

Status of current weather activity over Himachal Pradesh:

1) Lower hills of HP very likely to continue to receive few spells of light rainfall with one or two moderate spells till midnight of today.

2) Mid hills of HP very likely to continue to receive few spells of light rainfall/snowfall with one or two moderate spells till morning hours of tomorrow.

3) High hills of HP very likely to continue to receive many spells of moderate snowfall with few heavy spells till the forenoon of tomorrow.

4) Heavy rainfall/snowfall also likely over at isolated place over NE-Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, northern parts of Mandi, Lahul-Spiti, Kinnaur and northern parts of Sirmaur districts till tomorrow morning.

5) Severe cold day conditions continue to prevail over many parts of the state during the next 12 hours.

6) Weather activity is most likely to decrease significantly over HP from tomorrow forenoon.

7) Fresh spells of cold wave, dense fog & ground front very likely to start over lower hills/plains of state from 30 Dec morning.

8) Shimla city & adjoining areas continue to experience intermittent light spells of precipitation till midnight of today.
