Himachal Pradesh selected by MoHFW Golto to represent team of India for SEAR Workshop -NHM

SHIMLA: The Immunisation Divsion of National Health Mission Himachal Pradesh has been selected by MoHFW GoI to represent the 5 member team of India for the SEAR Workshop which is being organised from 12th June to 15th June at New Delhi .

Himachal Pradesh has implemented and utilised the digital platforms for immunization in a very effective manner. The eVIN has been instrumental in vaccine demand generation, forecasting and real time monitoring of the Vaccines and cold Chain equipment all over the State.Our State has been declared the top performer in UWIN ( Univeral Immunusation app) implementation in the Pilot Districts of Solan and Sirmaur. In future this shall now be rolled out across all the districts of the State.

The participating nations in the SEAR workshop includes Bangladesh, Bhutan,Democratic People’s Republic of Korea , Mayammar , Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia , India, Maldives, Srilanka and Timor – Leste .The Workshop shall prepare an action plan for post covid catch up vaccination for all the SEAR countries with special focus on the utilisation of digital platforms for vaccine availability and real time monitoring of the Cold Chain till the last mile.
The implementation of the action plan shall ensure identification of children with Zero Dose who are not immunised or partially immunised. Further the countries shall plan special campaigns in three phases starting in August till October to achieve better immunization coverage and curtail Vaccine Preventable Disease outbreaks.
