{"id":75599,"date":"2022-01-14T19:53:15","date_gmt":"2022-01-14T14:23:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.himshimlalive.com\/?p=75599"},"modified":"2022-01-14T19:53:15","modified_gmt":"2022-01-14T14:23:15","slug":"himachal-cabinet-decision-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.himshimlalive.com\/?p=75599","title":{"rendered":"Himachal cabinet decision.."},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>SHIMLA: <\/strong><strong>The meeting of State Cabinet held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur gave its nod to Swaran Jayanti Energy\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Policy-<\/strong><strong>2021<\/strong><strong> of the State which envisages clean and green energy development through expeditious of full energy potential specially hydro and solar, add additional <\/strong><strong>10000<\/strong><strong> MW of green energy though hydro, solar and other green energy sources by <\/strong><strong>2030<\/strong><strong>, expeditious development of green energy sources, a four pronged strategy by way of participation of State, Joint, Central and Private sectors. It also aimed at developing adequate and efficient transmission network in the State by creating transmission Master Plan to facilitate planning and timely execution of hydro and solar projects. It also lays stress on renewal energy sources viz. solar, wind, biomass and other non-conventional energy sources. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet gave its approval to the Himachal Pradesh Swarnim Jayanti Sports Policy <\/strong><strong>2021<\/strong><strong> which lays emphasis on developing, maintaining and optimally utilizing high quality sports infrastructure, encourage public private participation in creating sports infrastructure, coordinate with educational institutions for promotion of sports and to encourage, train and support sportspersons for participation and excellence in national and international championships with high standards of ethics. The Policy also aims at introducing scientific research in training for long term sports development and recognize and honour talent in sports and reward young women and men who have achieved excellence in sports.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>It also decided to dispense with the process of <\/strong><strong>15<\/strong><strong> marks evaluation and enhancement of weightage of written test from <\/strong><strong>85<\/strong><strong> to <\/strong><strong>100<\/strong><strong> marks for direct recruitment to Class-III posts to ensure more objective selection in transparent manner. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet gave its ex post facto approval for <\/strong><strong>100<\/strong><strong> percent\u00a0 waiver\/ exemption of Token Tax, Special Road Tax and Passenger Tax of various categories of vehicles to provide relief to the transporters keeping in view the affect due to corona pandemic. It decided to waive of remaining <\/strong><strong>50<\/strong><strong> percent Token Tax on Stage Carriage, Taxi, Maxi, Auto and Contract Carriage buses, Institutional Buses and <\/strong><strong>100<\/strong><strong> percent Token Tax on Contract Carriage Buses and Special Road Tax on Stage Carriage with effect from <\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>st August, <\/strong><strong>2020<\/strong><strong> to <\/strong><strong>30<\/strong><strong>th June, <\/strong><strong>2021. <\/strong><strong>It also decided to waive off <\/strong><strong>100<\/strong><strong> percent Token Tax on Stage Carriage, Contract Carriage and Institutional Buses and Special Road Tax of Stage Carriage with effect from <\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>st July, <\/strong><strong>2021<\/strong><strong> to <\/strong><strong>30<\/strong><strong>th November, <\/strong><strong>2021. <\/strong><strong>It also decided to waive off <\/strong><strong>100<\/strong><strong> passenger tax on contract carriage and institutional buses with effect from <\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>st April, <\/strong><strong>2020<\/strong><strong> to <\/strong><strong>30<\/strong><strong>thNovember, <\/strong><strong>2021.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>It decided to open new Circle of Public Works Department at Dharampur in Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up requisite posts. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet gave its approval to create new Division of\u00a0 Public Works Department at Shahpur in Kangra district and Sub Division at Darinin alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts for smooth functioning of these offices.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet gave its approval for restructuring of State Taxes and Excise Department. Creation and filling up of posts would be carried out by the Department in a phased manner in consultation with the Finance Department and in sync with the restructuring proposal.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>It also gave its consent to open a new Section of Jal Shakti Department at Darwar in Mandi district under Sub Division Tihra alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>It also gave its approval to open a new Section of Jal Shakti Department at Kelodhar in Mandi district under Sub Division Kelodhar alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet gave its approval to fill up <\/strong><strong>108<\/strong><strong> posts of different categories in Revenue Department on contract basis. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet decided to fill up <\/strong><strong>42<\/strong><strong> posts of Silk Inspectors in Industries Department on contract basis. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet decided to fill up <\/strong><strong>13<\/strong><strong> posts of different categories in Printing and Stationery Department. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>It decided to fill up three posts of Statistical Assistant in Revenue Department on contract basis. <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>The Cabinet gave its nod to provide relief to flood affected farmers of Lahaul-Spiti district for current agriculture and horticulture losses caused due to extensive rains on <\/strong><strong>27<\/strong><strong>th to <\/strong><strong>30<\/strong><strong>th July last year. The farmers would be provided Rs.<\/strong><strong>2000<\/strong><strong> per bigha for losses between <\/strong><strong>25<\/strong><strong> to <\/strong><strong>50<\/strong><strong> percent, Rs. <\/strong><strong>2500<\/strong><strong> per bigha for losses between <\/strong><strong>50<\/strong><strong> to <\/strong><strong>75<\/strong><strong> percent and Rs. <\/strong><strong>3000<\/strong><strong> per bigha for losses to agricultural and horticultural crops above <\/strong><strong>75<\/strong><strong> percent.
