Dinesh Chauhan, Advocate, along with Ms. Sunita Sood, Advocate, Satish Sharma, Advocate,\u00a0 Rohit Steta, Advocate as members of the Election Committee. The elections were held to fill the posts of President, Vice President, and Joint Secretary, while the post of General Secretary, Treasurer and Librarian was filled unopposed.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>In the election for the post of President, Himanshu Panwar, Advocate, secured 320 votes, defeating\u00a0 Anu Tuli, Advocate, who polled 236 votes, by a margin of 84 votes.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>For the post of Vice President, Sh. Sher Singh Roach, Advocate, received 378 votes, while Ms. Navita, Advocate, secured 172 votes, resulting in a victory margin of 206 votes.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Anuj Kumar Tanwar, Advocate, was elected unopposed to the post of General Secretary.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>For the post of Joint Secretary,\u00a0 Dimple, Advocate, received 293 votes, while\u00a0 Santosh Bala, Advocate, secured 255 votes, resulting in a victory margin of 38 votes.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>\u00a0Hitender Thakur, Advocate, and\u00a0 Abhishek Khimta, Advocate were elected unopposed to the post of Treasurer and Librarian respectively.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The elected office bearers of the Shimla Bar Association for the year 2026-27 are as follows:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.himshimlalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-157287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.himshimlalive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1-300x139.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1069\" height=\"277\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SHIMLA: The Annual General Elections of the Shimla Bar Association for the term 2026-27 were successfully conducted on June 02, 2026, under the chairmanship of Sh.
